Are you passionate about using the arts to connect with your community? The Center for Contemporary Arts (CCA) is seeking a creative, organized, and people-focused ArtReach Coordinator to lead and grow our community-based arts programming.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with diverse populations—from youth to seniors—and thrives in a dynamic environment that blends teaching, program coordination, and community engagement.

About the Role

The ArtReach Coordinator develops and leads meaningful arts programming both on-site at CCA and throughout the community. You’ll collaborate with instructors, partner organizations, and volunteers to deliver engaging creative experiences that support connection, learning, and access to the arts.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and lead engaging art workshops and classes for diverse groups, including youth, seniors, and community partners

  • Coordinate and support ArtReach instructors, schedules, and curriculum planning

  • Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations

  • Plan and support summer ArtCamps, including logistics, supplies, and daily operations

  • Lead CCA’s presence at community events, festivals, and ArtWalk

  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers and interns

  • Manage program supplies, inventory, and documentation

  • Track attendance, budgets, and program outcomes

  • Capture photos and content for marketing and storytelling

  • Support program-related fundraising and organizational initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in art education, community arts, or a related creative field

  • Strong facilitation skills with a variety of audiences

  • Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities

  • Comfort with Google Workspace and digital tools

  • Ability to manage schedules, logistics, and multiple moving parts

  • Willingness to travel locally for programs and events

Bonus if you have:

  • Nonprofit or community arts experience

  • Background in therapeutic arts or working with seniors/memory care

  • Photography or social media skills

Work Environment

This position includes a mix of on-site work at CCA, off-site programming at partner locations, and participation in community events. Some evenings and weekends are required.
