Confessions of a Serial Painter

About the Exhibition

“Having a strong sense of closure, and a habit of working in a series, this work is the result of an incomplete series of paintings begun in 2019. I had about 20 half finished paintings when my husband, Lloyd, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He helped me frame them and I tweaked them enough to hang for my exhibit in October, 2019.  They were not finished until now.  My direction is not what it was and it has not been easy to revisit . I have included several pieces to give a view of past work and maybe a couple that signal a new direction.”

Reception: June 20, 5:30-7:30PM
