September ArtWalk:

September 10, 5-8 PM

Presented by The Center for Contemporary Arts.

This month’s ArtWalk theme is "Stress Release." We could all use some release after everything 2020 has brought so far!

Smash and Transform - We'll offer a way for you to safely break plates, then use the pieces to create a mosaic. The plates you smash represent something from which you need release. The mosaic represents taking something destructive then turning it into something beautiful.

The Art of Zen - Upstairs at The Center, you can hold a yoga pose against a paper backdrop and have someone trace your shadow onto the paper.

ArtWalk is a monthly mini arts festival downtown hosted by the Center for Contemporary Arts. Bring the entire family to historic downtown where restaurants, shops, museums, galleries and entertainment await you! Adult Beverages available for purchase thanks to The Local. Special thanks to Lone Star Dry Goods for sponsoring live music from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Arts and crafts vendors will line the street to display their wares every second Thursday at ArtWalk.
