Linda Murray grew up in Rotan, a small town in west Texas, where she discovered the importance of trees, reading, and irony. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She now lives near Buffalo Gap, Texas, where she has plenty of trees, almost enough books, and irony to spare.
